For some reason, someone at Amputate is claiming to be me, linking to my site and asking for feedback. I cannot fathom why they are doing this, and while feedback is always welcome, posing as another designer is simple identity theft. Sure, it’s not as though they are stealing my credit cards or the like; yet the potential for confusion, lost business, and libelous claims is still there. The same person has also posted as being the designer behind I Hear It Hurts (which is run by an associate of mine), and is claiming to beat any price from LogoWorks by 50%. I can only imagine Matt’s confusion and annoyance should someone fall for that and ask him for the “50% off deal.”

So, no, I did not post that, and anything posted by the person should be taken with a grain of salt.
